We had an amazing 4th of July on Bald Head Island. Right here’s a recap of the highlights from the primary half of our journey! Half II with the Fourth of July coming subsequent!

We’re wrapping up our loopy journey season with our prolonged household journey to Bald Head Island! We met my dad and mom, sister, her husband, and my nieces at a new-to-us rental home on the ocean. We loved a lot of household time and sunshine (which is fortunate as a result of the forecast mentioned rain on a regular basis!)

Each boys simply beloved the ocean this 12 months. Mazen is a really assured swimmer, and this was the primary 12 months Birch actually beloved the ocean (regardless of getting “crushed” by many waves).

Bald Head Island: Summer season 25!

We met the household in Southport for a really early dinner with my sister’s in-laws who dwell there. After which we boarded the 6pm ferry to the island.

Our home this 12 months was nice! Spacious and three king bedrooms.

We spent our entire first day on the seaside!

And this was the one picture I took : )

Dad and mom’ Evening Out

My dad and mom watched all 4 grandchildren on the primary night time so the youthful dad and mom may exit to a pleasant dinner.

We went to Aqua on the Shoal’s Membership and ate on the porch.

Spicy Margs

I had some scrumptious fish with crab and grits!

We completed our dinner on the early aspect and didn’t wish to get dwelling earlier than bedtime (IYKYK) so we went to Bald Head Bottle to have one other spherical of drinks.

And after that it was nonetheless too early to go dwelling, so we received ice cream! This key lime and coconut combo was the spotlight of the night time for me!

I had bagels or yogurt bowls for breakfast most mornings. And went for about an hour stroll on the seaside every day.

BHI Membership

When the youngsters received uninterested in the seaside, we went to the Membership pool a couple of instances (like when the boys went {golfing}!) The pool was crowded however the youngsters beloved the waterslides and 0 entry. I had an Aperol Spritz round 4:30 : )

They beloved the group Bingo taking place one afternoon.

Shoal’s Membership Dinner

The Shoal’s Membership bar, Latitudes, does a half-off particular on Mondays, so naturally Clifford Youthful likes to go this night time! The meals was SO good, and we almost ordered one in every of every little thing. I loved an Outdated Common, too!

Household Pictures
